We're happy to say since there was enough interest, we'll be going ahead with running a Snowbarry Holidays event this December. ❄️🎁

Everyone who signs up will be assigned a day to create a Snowbarry fanwork for out of the 12 days the event runs, from December 13th to December 24th. The fanwork created doesn’t necessarily need to be Christmas-related, it can incorporate any holiday from that time of year or just seasonal fun. The event is open to many fanwork types (including but not limited to: fanfic, fanart, aesthetics, photo manips, fanvids, fanmixes) and to all the variations of Snowbarry too, like Flashfrost etc. People are also welcome to sign-up for more than 1 day if they like, the sign-up form has options for that. If we have more than 12 sign-ups we'll just have extra fanworks for some of the days.

Sign-ups are open until the end of October 30th - SIGN-UP HERE.

After sign-ups close, we'll work out the schedule based on the preferred dates everyone gives us, arranged so there's someone creating for every day, and we'll then email everyone their date(s).

i wish non-romantic intimate relationships were more normalized, because then maybe i wouldnt struggle so much with likely being alloaro. i want the intimacy of a relationship, but romance just. doesnt work for me. it doesnt click. everytime i sorta settle into aromanticism, my brain kicks me like "but you WANT to have a life partner/that closeness and intimacy" and i wish other forms of non-romantic relationships were more common in media and in real life so that i could then point at that and go "but see, thats the intimacy without the romance! i dont need a romantic partner to have that!"

Video titled something like "Caught him thinking he's the main character" but it was just a kid wearing headphones, looking out the bus window. Of course it was posted without his knowledge. Stop recording strangers and everything you see, nobody gives a shit and not everyone is happy to be on tiktok or youtube because of a moron with no braincells and an account. What could be a forgettable awkward moment is now permanently there for the victim of lackabrainis infested idiot to get anxious about forever.

Please be aware that if you are tagging sensitive topics for the sake of other people's blacklists, you NEED TO SPELL THE WORD CORRECTLY.

Lets use the word "yellow" as an example. Let's say the word yellow means something horrible, and many people might want to filter it so that they don't see posts that mention or discuss anything to do with the word yellow.

If you tag the potentially triggering post as "y3llow" or "ye11ow" or "yell0w," then youre actually circumventing most peoples block lists. Youre making your post highly difficult to avoid by anyone who doesn't want to see that word. People have to add every possible spelling combination of the word "Y3770w" to their block lists, and even then, some that they haven't thought of will slip through their blocklist net and will give them an unpleasant surprise.

But if you just tag the post simply as "yellow," correctly spelled and with no creative letter replacements, then all anyone needs to do to avoid ever seeing that content is to add the word yellow to their blocklist.

For the love of God, PLEASE stop censoring sensitive topics in the tags. Youre not helping; youre actively hindering anyone who is trying to avoid potentially triggering topics.
